# Connect Claude

Use Claude's remote custom connector, not the local stdio configuration in claude_desktop_config.json.

## Setup

1. Open Claude's Connectors settings and choose Add custom connector.
2. Name it Sanctris and enter `https://app.sanctris.com/mcp` as the remote server URL.
3. Start the connection. If asked for OAuth client identification, choose automatic registration (DCR); Sanctris does not currently advertise Client ID Metadata Documents. Complete Sanctris OAuth in the browser.
4. Enter your workspace ID and account on Sanctris, choose the purpose, then return to Claude.
5. Enable Sanctris in the conversation and ask it to list your pending tasks.

The exact menu and connector availability depend on your Claude account and organization policy. Claude connects from its cloud infrastructure: localhost is not reachable through this remote-connector path.

## Confirm a write

Open the approvalUrl from the tool result and approve the exact operation. Sanctris executes it automatically; you do not need to relay approval to Claude. Claude can query the original operation_id for the outcome. Do not replace an approval with a fresh request.

If interactive forms are unavailable, use the browser link or provide values in conversation. Preserve text types: a phone field should be `"13912345678"`, not a number or a string containing extra quote characters.

## Compatibility

A real Claude Desktop remote OAuth connection, task query and human-approved collection creation have been tested. Availability of every tool or UI extension in all Claude surfaces is not guaranteed.
